"Mom and I sure had an adventure with Chris last Thursday. He had his work cut out for him that day with the two of us - 2 absolute beginners! His first clue must have been at your shop when he was picking out some flies for us to use, and Mom and I were more interested in the souvenir t-shirts. By the afternoon, after we had each caught a few rainbows, we started dubbing Chris our "fish caddie." We would have been lost without his constant direction. We've been laughing all week, recalling how when either of us would hook a fish, our first instinct would be to call out to Chris for help. But, certainly, the highlight of the day was after dinner when we went back out with some dry flies. I hooked a big one, and with Chris' guidance, a lot of patience, and plenty of excitement, we were able to reel her in! I guess I'd have to say I'm "hooked" now.
